Effect of Foliar Application of Chemicals on Plant Architecture in Potted Ixora chinensis var. ‘Mini Double’

The investigation aimed to study the effect of foliar application chemicals on plant canopy, vegetative growth and flowering, as well overall appearance Ixora chinensis plants grown in pot. Application salicylic acid, benzyl adenine silicon at different concentrations significantly influenced growth, pigments compared untreated (control). Plants treated with 10 mg/l 20 acid showed significant increase height, spread, number branches thicker stems leaves leaf area during experiment. Further, inflorescence per plant, diameter flowers were observed maximum acid. Improved flowering period (89.60 days), delayed senescence situ flower longevity (14.87 days) was ixora sprayed 30 mg/l. chlorophyll content (1.81 mg/g) anthocyanin (0.282 petal tissue 1.5 % concentration, which followed by 1.0 concentration. highest pot (4.15) a visual basis noted mg/l,
